As a place to live and work, Dubai ranks high with young workers coming up through the technical ranks and the Dubai Biotechnology and Research Park wants to make the most of that as it plans to grow and expand. Like so many other bioclusters around the world they also want to become a hub for their geographic region which in this case, is the Middle East and North Africa.
The immediate region and its neighbours have a combined GDP of nearly 7 trillion USD so Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi sees a lot of potential for the research park. He is the Executive Director of Dubiotech
and after a few years spent planning and building the infrastructure, he feels they have what they need to expand.
