| Background:
The rapid development of genomic and proteomic tools combined with the increasing costs of health care warrants serious consideration by Alberta. Genome Alberta is proposing to build a business case for the Alberta government in health “omics”. Genome Alberta and the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research are inviting health experts to an open discussion to identify priority areas for a potential investment in Alberta genomics and proteomics. |
